MAINTENANCE. IT'S TOO IMPORTANT TO IGNORE.
Mercury outboards and Quintrex boats are made to last with a little regular T.L.C. having the Muir’s service team carry out our annual scheduled maintenance is a great start, but you can play your part too.
Ask one of our team to guide you though the pre and post boating maintenance checks you should do to keep your Quintrex or Mercury performing its best for years to come.
What does regular maintenance at Muir’s involve?
Engine oil, filters, spark plugs, thermostats, water pumps, gear oil, compression, and anodes are just a few of the things we inspect or replace as part of the scheduled maintenance on your engine. We also check for corrosion, battery condition, mounting points, and steering to keep you safe on the water.
Our trained technicians are also experts at trailer service and maintenance such as wheel bearing, brakes, tyres, and lights to ensure you can get your boat to and from the ramp trouble-free.
Quintrex also has a maintenance schedule for your boat to make sure the condition of the hull and fixings is kept in good working order and in good condition for years ahead.
How often?
For most of our clients, operating under normal recreational conditions, an annual service with Muir’s will keep you in tip-top condition and covered by under factor extended warranties.
Safe and happy boating from the Muir’s team.
